What is the use of response essays?

A response essay is written after going through the work of others. Main purpose of this response essay is to make a response to others work after analyzing it thoroughly. In response essay, author expresses their feelings about another author’s work. Generally an essay needs to have the following parts; they are Introduction, the body and the conclusion. A response essay needs to be written clearly which expresses the author’s opinion about another author’s work.
Each and every research paper follows some layouts and formats for describing the content. Layout of the research paper need to contain a title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, results and findings, conclusions, appendices, references and bibliography. Layout or structure is used to present the content. A poorly structured essay may even ruin the grade of a student. It is advised to follow a specific structure while writing an essay.
DBQ essay stands for document-based questions which are designed to make the student to work like historian and this process requires collection of information from various sources. DBQ essay has two parts, first part contains questions on each document and the second part includes writing essay using all the resources.
